Last Saturday my mom called me to tell me that my childhood cat, Rascal, had gone into renal failure and had to be put to sleep. Naturally, he chose the time when I was most busy and least able to do much of anything, such as write this post. This is how cats roll and especially how Rascal liked to roll - he was named that for a reason, after all
