The Very Hot Brooklyn Book Fest

This weekend was the Brooklyn Book Festival.  I met up with fellow Deb, Heather Duffy Stone, whose book THIS IS WHAT I WANT TO TELL YOU comes out February/09, a month before mine.  And, if you haven't already checked out The Feast of Awesome, please do so now -- there will be free giveaways coming sooooon, including very, very cool swag bags.

It was! There were so many other panels I wished I could've gone to, but alas -- so many great authors and so little time.

Is the Orthodox Jewish book you're talking about NEVER MIND THE GOLDBERGS by Matthue Roth? That's my homeboy (note the author photo credit on the book jacket).

I think the title she mentioned was more along the lines of THE CHOSEN or THE CHOSEN ONES or something...but I'm intrigued -- will check out Roth's photo credit for sure ;D.
