I really don't want to move my base of operations to tumblr, but all I'm doing fannishly these days is writing Person of Interest meta, and tumblr's where those conversations seem to happen.

Seriously, Tumblr has some great John Reese meta!! I'm loving it all.

I want to see them find another way to help people and save people, and they open the most awesome children's group/foster home, and give opportunities to lots of kids who need it, and Finch teaches them the wonders of math, and Reese carries babies around instead of guns.

On a slightly more serious note, I think a happy ending for them is more possible if something happens to the machine, if the numbers stop coming, and so they have to find something less suicide-mission to do with themselves. Like taking care of babies and dogs.

I think that would be not because they destroy machine, but it chooses to die to save Finch (totes on board with machine being sentient).

I have been thinking about creating a dw poi community, just to get people to discuss meta in a useful place. But then Im the worst person to own a comm, because I'm so flighty and will probably have left for another fandom in two months, so. //(

The thought still won't leave me alone.

I do think he wants life, at this point.

Totally agreed, especially after the whole 'I woke up happy' thing and loving his work. But I do think he wants to live to *keep working*, not really for himself. He wants life because it has a purpose, now. (and Finch. *tinhats*)
