I finished my thumbnails for my next project last night at about 5. It's okay, though, because I felt like I was being really productive. I slept earlier in the evening, so I wasn't tired or stressed or anything. It felt great

AUUGGGH castration sounds so freeky to me, that's liek when a self defence teacher told me that one time a guy took a hot hair curler and stuck it up this girl's ahem... YEEEEP!!! O_o;
I hope he lieks it tho, it seems you were werkin a lot dese past days Mikey-boop!
The crit went really well ... I've got so many ideas I want to run with. But I have to agree, castration freaks the hell out of me. The boys are cringing just thinking about it! ;)
Well it's certainly more interesting! I like the sack of jewels the bes....especially since my last name is Hewell :D. Btw, thanks for the heads-up about the faire down in Harlingen...Dragon Valley. I found out about that one last year. Unfortunately it's got 2 strikes...a) Harlingen is just too far to drive for the weekend (Plantersville, there Texas Ren Feswt it, is bad enough!) and b)it's right after TRF and after 8 weeks of that, I'm broke and exhausted :(. heh
Well, my prof. busted out laughing when he saw that one. So I'm really gonna try to do that. But he also liked some of the other ideas. Like he said, it's gonna be all about self-motivation on this one.
I thought you all would be interested in the Dragon Valley faire, but yeah... it's about four hours from SA, so it's quite a drive. When I heard they were looking for stained glass artists, I immediately thought of Oisín. But I'm guessing it takes quite a bit of notice to prep for something like that. ;)
My thumbs include a naked Ken doll, and a sack of jewels being sheared open with scissors...
Wow-- powerful images for the subject matter! Which, btw, makes *me* hurt to think about, too, though I can't quite figure out the location of the pain....
