So remember that whole thing about college kid partying? Well, I lied. Ended up doing a lot of partying last night. Vicky's cousin was in town and she was determined to have a good time. It's not pathetic to want to get to know your crush. That's what crushes are for! ;)

As for the roommate...interesting. That wasn't what I was picturing either, although I had little to go by to conjur up a mental picture. I hope things work out between you though. Hopefully he'll come out of his shell a little (LOL!) as time goes by.

Truth be told, I was a little put off by the fact that he didn't mention the "TMNT thing" like my other roomies have. Usually it's the first thing people bring up when they enter the apt. My love for them really doesn't go unnoticed, so I wonder if he thought he was just being polite by not saying anything. But I'm gonna be living with guy, I need to have some sort of idea of how feels about it.

Well, actually no... I really don't. I've been here a lot longer than him, and if he doesn't like the TMNT, then tough titties.

LOL. But I think we'll get on fine. This is his first apt. so I want it to be a decent experience for him.

Hehehe... thanks for the compliment on the layout. I'm still getting used to it. I tend to see the flaws, but then when I look at it from far away, I realize it does look pretty neato.

As for the crush. *le sigh* ... He lives in San Antonio, and I'm only going to be working there for another week. We do have a mutual friend who lives here, which is how I discovered his flickr. I've added him as a contact, commented on a couple of pics, and even sent a flickrmail message just to say I enjoyed his work, but have yet to have a response. Of course, he may just not be on flickr all that often. But I dunno. He seems pretty rad and I'd like to be his friend.
