I will not pretend to have a full grasp on the situation and give you offhand ambiguous advice that doesn't work because I'm not exactly good with that kind of stuff.

Instead, I will offer you a humble e-hug and wish you luck in whatever is happening to you right now. Take care. *hugs*

*huggles back*

I really appreciate it. *sniffs* everything's just really effin' crazy and I'm losing my grip on my so-called sanity.

I never resort to using alcohol to alleviate depression, but for the current situation--I'd gladly have one. *headdesk*

I was discussing this very topic with friends the other night - my friend just found out she had a half-sister. I mean, my friend's 30 and getting married and her grandmother only just told her!? Plus my dad was sleeping with his now second wife while with my mum... which explains why my half-sister and I are so close in age...

AH FAMILIES~~~ TEH DRAMA RAMA BAMA.

O.O Your friend and I are sort of in the same situation--I have 2 'older' sisters from my father's previous relationships. *headdesk*

And the thing is no one would probably tell me about it. (they're thinking that i'm still young--heck, is 24 considered young?! *kicks*)

It felt like the proverbial rug has been pulled from under my goddamn feet. DX

Yep, because her father was 17 and his first born was adopted out, so he didn't tell anyone, not his wife or his kids later on. His mum knew tho, so I think when he got sick she told her grandchildren.

It's scary. I have one friend who somehow has a half-brother the same age as him in New Zealand - but his mum and dad were married when he was born, so that means his dad must have been in two relationships at the same time, or at least they were pretty frikken close.
