There's chicken, or something that started out as chicken, but then he got distracted by the pasta boiling over, and now it's the artist formerly known as chicken. "Hey," Bridge says, after letting himself in. "That smells, um..." he trails off uncertainly as he makes his way to the kitchen.

"Delicious?" Xander suggests, oh so seriously. There may be a smear of soot across his cheek.

"I was going to say 'like burning'," Bridge admits. "You've got, uh," he hesitates for just a fraction of a second before reaching out to brush the soot from Xander's cheek.

"Mmm, delicious like burning," Xander answers, not flinching from the fingers so close to his eye. Deliberately not flinching, but that's a step up, really.
