Since he's himself again, Xander's figuring it's probably his turn to make breakfast - or in this case brunch, since he's waiting for Bridge's class to let out before feeding him. Which he's all for, because brunch is very firmly daylight, and right now? Daylight is of the good

Bridge was absolutely not in the least bit late, really. Okay, *maybe* he'd taken a little longer to get ready after Tactics class than he thought he'd need. Maybe.

But he's here now, apparently having forgotten that he owns a key, as he's simultaneously knocking on the door and attempting to straighten his uniform jacket.

Because Xander cares. Seriously.

He answers the door with a spatula in hand, having just transferred the last of the waffles to the plate on the table. "Hey."

Sure, logically, Bridge knows that Xander doesn't really care if his jacket isn't tucked in properly. But logic and Bridge sometimes don't exactly mesh.

"Hey!" he says cheerfully, stepping inside.

"Oh good, you're not a vampire." Sometimes Xander lacks subtlety. Then again, sometimes he's just being direct. Ish.
