Xander's channel-flipping absently, trying to distract himself from the thought that Isabel left today, but not doing such a great job of it. When he had work to do, the physical kind or just meeting new aliens and renting them rooms, as you do, it was better. Now, though, he can't actually seem to pay attention to one show long enough to not think

Normally, Bridge is a law-abiding citizen. It sort of comes with the territory of, you know, training to be a cop and all. But not tonight. Oh no. Tonight he is out in town, well after curfew, and standing outside Xander's apartment. Because he's *pretty* sure Xander wouldn't send him back to the school for breaking a completely stupid rule. So he knocks.

And of course it's late enough that Xander, knowing Bridge is a law-abiding citizen, and cop-in-training, doesn't expect him to be out in town well after curfew, standing outside Xander's apartment. So he's a little slow to answer the door.

He's getting there; he's just taking his time.

Which means that of course Bridge knocks again, perhaps a little impatiently.

"Coming," Xander says, perhaps a little testily. And then he gets there and opens the door. "....Um. Hi."
