Satisfaction
It's almost 3:00, but I've officially finished not only the first draft, but the revised first draft of my short story for Creative Writing: Fiction. I'll let you get your mitts on the next draft, one that sucks less.
Not that this one sucks; I think it turned out quite well, in truth. But, you know, when I get the feedback of people in class, I'll be able to show you probably-less-than-fourteen-people a draft without the obvious flaws that they'll have spotted, leaving only the deep structural flaws.
It has references to Simon and Garfunkel and Stephen King. What's not to love?
