I'm published!

Well, sorta. A few months ago, I submitted some stuff to Crosscurrents, the semi-annual campus literary magazine. On Tuesday, I finally heard back from them; they're publishing one of my short stories and two of my poems in the Spring 2007 edition! It's not exactly Bloomsbury, I know, but I'm still pretty excited about it. Plus it's one more thing

Thank you! The story is "Horoscope," which I don't think you've ever read; I wrote it two years ago for my first fiction writing class. I didn't mention this in the post, but Emily, who's the Crosscurrents editor, also asked me to read one of my poems at the release party next Saturday. I'm not sure if I'll do it or not, 'cause I'm literally SWAMPED with work right now and I don't know if I can spare even a few hours from my frantic paper writing. Plus you know how I am about public speaking. *_*

So how the hell are things in Pullman?! Did your presentations go okay? Has your workload lightened any? I feel like we haven't talked in forever!
