So I was re-reading Half-Blood Prince the other day and noticed that Snape's father is named Tobias. Now when I think of that scene in Order of the Phoenix where Harry sees the memory of Snape's father yelling at his wife and son, I imagine him to be wearing glasses, waving around a dish cover, and demanding to know, "What are we doing with this?!

Oh man, I laughed out loud when I read this! I'm in lab right now, though good thing no one else is here, or they might've thought I was crazy. Most sane people aren't in lab on Saturday evenings, but I have to breed on some Saturdays now. And I'm waiting for Veronica and Sam and Jen to pick me up so we can go get dinner^_^ But about Tobias Snape, priceless! I guess we'll have to get Ellen to make another pair of wire glasses! Oh man, anyone named Tobias now will make me think of the analrapist, it's such an unusual name. Anyway, talk to you later^_^

"I have to breed on some Saturdays now" goes straight into my file of Things I Never Thought I'd Hear. ^_^ But I'm glad you got a kick out of Tobias Snape and also that were spared having to explain what you were laughing about. Can't you just see a young Snape growing up with Tobias as a father? "There's a new daddy in town, Severus. A discipline daddy." No wonder Snape turned out the way he did.
