I'm here arms wide open, heart wide open. By myself. I get it youre defensive, but do you care? I keep telling myself that you do, but I think I'm holding onto the you from the beginning of our relationship and the dream that you will feel like that again.

Why do I put myself in these situations? I know for a fact that "be nice to a girl and she'll walk all over you" is true. But thats who I am. I'm trying not to lose myself. But its hard. Every experience tells me being an asshole works better.
