This is wondrous. I actually like it much more than half of the official art I've seen of Cap (I haven't seen much, though, American comic is not my strong point).
WOAH, THANKS. ♥ It's more of a base than a finished product, so it needs reworking. But I am glad it moved you, because I wanted - NEEDED - this to be powerful. The piece is actually inspired by (read: is Neme's version and/or replacement of ) the cover of Fear Itself #7 (on sale in November). I think that cover fails to provide the emotional shock the events told in the book deserve; and since I'm a die-hard fan of the characters, I decided to try my hand and make something more... inspiring, I guess?
