baaaah, so cute! Ummm, so lauand recommended you to me because you're obviously into comics, and I just got into them and need more people on my f-list that I can share things with D: Mind if I friend you? :)

and out of curiosity... Tim was always a Dick fan, right? I mean, I'm assuming he stalked Jason for quite a bit too and knew the whole shebang with him, but did he ever meet him and get to know him the way he did with Dick?

Hullo, hullo!! :D
And welcome to my humble LJ. ;)

Mind if I friend you? :)
Of course I don't mind. <3 As you said, it'll be nice to have a comics fan to share stuff with! :D

Well, this is a tricky one. XD
Tim knew Dick from before he became Robin. Or rather: he was there when Dick's parents died, and it was one of the most traumatic experiences in his young life. He fixated upon that event, and this is why, years later, he was so very knowledgeable of all things Richard Grayson. So much so, in fact, he was able to figure out Robin's identity.
Now, ages in comics are a tricky, tricky thing. Usually, comics hint that Tim started stalking Dick, but if you go check the ages, it's more likely that Tim actually stalked Jason. Or, at the very least, he stalked Jason for more years that he did Dick ( ... )

Oooh, that was pretty informative. Man, it's kinda hard because I keep hearing references to all these events in the boys' lives, but it's so hard to find the actual comics, and it's not like I have the money to buy them all even if I did find the ones relevant to the boys. So most of Tim's story I haven't actually read yet - his induction as Robin, the death of his mom and later his dad and Kon and Steph, this Bludhaven business and taking over for Batman for a bit.... >.< I think Tim is my favorite Robin by far. But I have a very soft spot for Dick. And Jason I don't know enough about, but he's a fun guy to mess with, lol ( ... )

Talkative Informative is my middle name. I really like to prattle on and on endlessly about stuff I like, feel free to stop me anytime talk about comics&stuff with other fans. :3
Me, I'm a shameless boy-robins fan. X3;; Dick, Jay, Tim, Damian... even the caveman!Robin from the Stone age...I have a soft spot for them ALL! @_@ Must be the domino mask. XD;;
Oh, don't get me wrong, I like the girl-Robins, too, but I haven't read the issues with Steph as Robin, so I can't say I'm her fan and be quite honest. :/

So... Tim hallucinates about them? And would you happen to know where that scene of the pep-talk is?
Tim hallucinates about the other two Robins twice, at the very least. (and once he tells Nightwing that he "thinks about Jason ALL the time", much to my delight) There might be other times, but off the top of my head I can think of only those two. One of those hallucinations happen in Batman #456 And *if* I'm not mistaken, the pre-talk is in that one issue, too...? Hmmm, truthfully, I need to check, but I don't have the issues with ( ... )
