Oh Simon! Such an heartbreaking and yet uplifting picture. Kaminaaa~ Niaaaaa~ TAT I'm so glad Boota is there to accompany him at least. And thumbs up for having such pretty colors in the sky, as I think one of the most beautiful aspects of TTGL's art is all those lovely sky scenes. ♥

I love what they do with the BKG in this series - the sky scenes are especially breathtaking. Actually, one of my favourite pictures *ever* of the whole series is the cover of one of the CDs (I think)... sky, nothing but sky on the front, the coloures ranging from orange to purple in a breathtaking sunset, acting as a backdrop for Kamina's tomb. On the back, more desert, more sky, nigthtime. Velvet blue sprinkled with stars, and Yoko giving her back to us, a shadow among shadows. The subtext alone is enough to cut your breath short, but aesthetically speaking it's just as stunning!

I'm so glad Boota is there to accompany him at least.

Gotta love the cute fluffy thing. Speaking of which, I often wonder about that scene of human!Boota and adult!Simon they showed us in episode 1. °_° ..aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, barely fours hours from this post, and the Nia+Kamina pic already made it's raw, sketchy, more-stick-figures-and-geometrical-
