A friend posted this, and I wondered whether you could weigh in. Thank you for sharing your journey.

"I'm starting to see an increase in frequency of people including their preferred gender pronouns in their email signature. So far I see it mostly from cis gendered folks. Is this good ally behavior, or somehow cis gender privileged to so easily "out" your gender. As a cis-woman if I put she/her and they/them (as I'm fine with either) would that be good ally behavior, or cis privilege?"

Nah, it's a fine thing to do. It's not necessary, but it's nice.
