The conservative party's amendment(that marriage to be restricted to the union of a man and a woman to the exclusion of all others) to slow down the passage of Bill C-38 didn't pass. Yeah, a rather comfortable margin...

I wish I knew about that anti-homo-marriage protest on the hill before it actually happened. I would have gone to it, wrapped myself in a big gay-pride flag, and deep throated the first faggot I came across. For some reason.

The frightening thing is that their is very likely to be an election call now, and if the conservatives sweep then gay marriage will be defeated.
