It's "In" to Like Anime in Hollywood

If you've ever been ashamed of being an otaku, don't be! More & more celebrities have been coming out over the years & have admitted to their guilty pleasure that ships from the Land of the Rising Sun. Most recently we have Zac Efron, who has been reported to be in talks to star in the upcoming live-action Full Metal Panic movie. When asked by MTV to discuss the possibility, Efron admitted that it wasn't likely that he would be taking the role. However, he did admit he's been a “a huge comic book & manga fan" for many years. You can see part of the interview in the video above.
Efron isn't alone in admitting to his hidden shame either. Just yesterday, American rapper Soulja Boy wrote on his Twitter that he's an anime fan as well. When asked why he likes putting "^_^" faces in some of his Twitters, Soulja Boy responded "I just like Anime." With a follow-up post saying "Soulja Boy fact of the day: I'm a fan of Anime ^_^."
