Top Anime & Manga for Fall 2008

After a weird while where we were in a topsy turvy world where Batman was the number one anime in the country, DBZ is finally back on top. This according to ICv2's quarterly results of the top selling anime & manga in the US for Fall 2008. However, Naruto still remains the top-selling manga for the umpteenth time in a row.

Meanwhile, newer manga titles like Vampire Knight & Rosario + Vampire seem to be on the rise in popularity. Let's see, both are about vampires... "Twilight" is out in theaters & the books are selling like crazy... girls are crazy for vampires. & yes, the RosaVam manga has been selling VERY well among female readers in America, surprisingly.
