5D's to Run for 52 Episodes?

Many anime series, as well as other forms of media, are being showcased next week at the MIPCOM Media Industry Event. At the event, many companies are pitching their series to new international markets so that their titles can be viewed in new countries worldwide. For instance, one of the series Toei is trying to pitch to new countries is DragonBall Z (you mean there's places on Earth that haven't shown this series yet?).

Among the companies present though is 4Kids Entertainment. Among the series they're pitching are "Dinosaur King" as well as its sequel series, & "Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's." But here's the interesting part- 5D's is being listed as having "52 planned episodes." Now the fact it's being listed as "planned" may mean that if the ratings are good enough, the series could go on for longer. But then again maybe not, if they planned a very specific story from start to finish. But will 5D's really only run for one year? At this point it's too early to tell, but I wouldn't hold out for too much hope if I were you.
