Megami Deluxe is a bi-annual special that collects the best posters of Megami Magazine from the past 6 months into one mook (mini-magazine). American publisher DMP is even
releasing "translated" versions (of what little text there actually is) in the US, though they're a few years behind Japan. Still, it's a great & easy way for American readers to pick up Megami without having to import. But I do import, & I recently got my hands on the latest volume from Japan, #11. Even though it's mostly a collection of past posters in a smaller size (the posters are page sized instead of pull-outs), Deluxe does still include 1 new giant pull-out poster every time. For #11, as can be seen from the cover, the huge poster this time had "Clannad" on both sides:
The bulk of the magazine is divided into themed sections, with the first being labeled as "Clannad, Lucky Star, Shakugan no Shana II" (actually they romanized Lucky Star as "Raki Suta"). Many posters from those three series were highlighted here:
I LOVE that poster of Shana in ribbons holding the chocolate heart. Probably my favorite in the whole magazine. The next section gets a little more risque with "Swim Ware Girl." In other words, the swimsuit segment:
But that section has nothing on the third part, which is called "Doki Doki Girl." Doki doki is the sound of a heart beating quickly, so this section is designed to get you excited:
Love that last one of "Yotsunoha" as well. @_@ Nono defines moe in my opinion. Section 4 is "Costume Play Girl," with characters wearing outfits other than their norm:
& the final section is labeled "Smile Girl," which I guess has girls... smiling:
