Macademi Wasshoi's Unusual Edits
Well just as I thought/feared, the televised version of Macademi WAsshoi is edited to take out most of the naughty bits we saw in the trailers. Guess we'll have to wait for the DVDs to see this series in its true, uncensored format.
But how the censors went about editing some of these scenes is a very unusual approach that we've never seen before- clay animated substitutes. So I guess cartoon drawings of naked girls are a no-no, but clay animated version of naked girls are all right. It was quite jolting but quite surprising at the same time.
Some of the edits were done in more traditional ways, though. I've made some comparison pics to show how the televised version & the upcoming DVD version present the scenes differently. Be warned though that some of the pics are NSFW, so be careful where you look at these:
