Oban Star-Racers Molly Figure Out Now
After about a year of delays & even longer since the item was first announced, the "Oban Star-Racers" Molly figure is now on sale at the official Oban Fan-Shop. This beauty of a figurine was first speculated come out in Fall of 2007, but saw delay after delay after delay. Things finally started to look good in May of this year, but constant delays sprung up.
But as of yesterday, the Molly (or Eva, as some fans might prefer) finally went on sale officially. Don't pay any attention to that note at the bottom of the product page that proclaims "This product is available since Wednesday 20 August, 2008." They have received the thing on that day, but I've been checking that page every day for the past month or so, & it was only on September 18 that we finally had the option of purchasing it.
The figure is fully colored & stands 7.5 inches tall. Make no mistake though, the thing is pretty expensive. It costs 37 Euros, or about $55 American (for some reason it was actually only 30 Euros yesterday, despite being listed at 37 for several months now). On top of that, if you live outside of France where the shop is located, expected to pay somewhat steep shipping prices as well.
