The Best of Death Note
Well it's finally come. The final episode of Death Note is currently showing right now on the Adult Swim website, & will be shown on TV tomorrow night. & while there's still at least one animated special to still come, this is the end of the line for the main story. So I felt this was a good time to blog about an interesting top 10 list that Adult Swim put on their website awhile back. Those guys are always putting up various different top 10 video lists of this & that for all their comedy shows, but as is always the case they tend to ignore their anime series. So imagine my surprise when they actually made one for Death Note.
This list comprises the top 10 most intense moments between Light & L from the series. Well actually, this list only goes up to when Light lost his memories of the notebook right before the Yotsuba arc started. & while there weren't very many Light VS L moments after that (considering Light was almost entirely a good guy up until L's death), it does miss out on the big climatic one. Still though, it's a pretty interesting list. & since this is the 21st century, it's entirely a video list. So as you get ready to watch the final episode of Death Note this weekend, take a few minutes to watch these short clips & reflect on how awesome the past 37 episodes have been:
