Sega Grabs Haruhi DS Game License

Jul 01, 2008 22:54

Yet another Haruhi Suzumiya game has been announced for Japan, & yet another different company will be making it. While Namco Bandai made the Haruhi games for the PSP & PS2, & Kadokawa Shoten is making the Wii version, Sega picked up the license to make a version for the Nintendo DS.

The new DS version is said to be an adventure game with a brand new story created just for the dual-screen handheld. Even though word about this just got out, it's set to hit Japanese stores this winter. That's the same time the dancing Wii Haruhi game is set to come out, which in contrast has been in the works for over a year already. Awesome news for the Japanese, but not so much for us international fans who'll likely never see any of the Haruhi games released locally.
