GX Sound Duel 2
Well it's taken over 2 years to get it out, but the second Sound Duel CD for Yu-Gi-Oh GX has finally been scheduled for release in Japan. Fans were wondering took this 2nd CD so long to get out, as the first Sound Duel only covered the first half of season 1. Truth was, there weren't very many new background music created for the second half & all of season 2 (though a few new stellar ones fans have been waiting for), but instead relied mostly on the old music. Then season 3 came with tons of new BGMs, topped with a few more for season 4. So basically they were waiting for enough new songs to come out before releasing another.
But when you get right down to it, it probably mostly has to do with GX coming to a supposed end this April. Now that absolutely no more GX music will be coming out, it's the best chance to release all the unreleased BGMs without worry of not including future ones. The CD is scheduled to come on April 2 for 3150 yen (about $28), & comes with bonus stickers. Yay! For those with import fever (although downloads are sure to appear soon after), you can get it here:
