Phoenix Wright 3 & 4

Phoenix Wright 4 is due to come in Japan this week. Actually since Phoenix Wright is no longer the main character of the game, we should call it by its Japanese name of Gyakuten Saiban 4. Our boy Phoenix still makes an appearance in the game (here's a hint: he's in the above trailer), & Ema Skye (the new girl in the bonus 5th case of the first DS game) becomes a main character now by taking over Gumshoe's role. She's older now & no longer just a teenager, & she also got really hot. =b

But while Japan is about to get their hands on the fourth game of the series, America still hasn't received any official word on the third. Capcom was even holding a contest awhile back to help bring the game to our shores, but nothing has been heard of it since. Well recently at a Phoenix Wright fan forum, a GameCrazy worker said he spotted an entry for a new Phoenix Wright game in the computers that has a release date of this September. Here's what he had to say:

I work at a GameCrazy store and periodically, our computers will be updated with information before publishers release it (for example, we have “Riddick” for the PS3 and XB360 in our systems, but no announcement has been made). Anyway, I was checking trade-in values this morning for Phoenix Wright, and I noticed six entries instead of the usual four (each game has an entry for a used copy and a new copy.. so four entries = 2 games, 8 entries = 4 games, etc).

Anyway, I went back and looked, and I noticed that they have put in a new Phoenix Wright game, slated for this fall, and the tagline cut off, but it said “Phoenix Wright - Trials Tribu”. I’m guessing it could be “Trials and Tribulations”, but I don’t know. It had a release date of 9/25/07.
