Which anime character do you wish you could be friends with? That was the question a Japanese website was asking of the people of Japan, & the results were quite interesting. The results:

Rei?!  Are these people not reading Re-Take?  Who'd ever choose Rei over the goddess that is Asuka is a complete moron. XD Unless it were Saotome Rei, then I'd have a bit harder time deciding. =b Similarly, Japan's Animedia magazine ran their monthly favorite anime character pole, & these were the results:
