New Anime Dubbing Company
3 former FUNimation employees have left the company in order to start their own anime dubbing company, entitled Illumitoon Entertainment Ltd. The 3 have worked on many of FUNimations most popular titles including DragonBall Z, FullMetal Alchemist, and YuYu Hakusho. Their first anime licensing was announced as being the Shonen Jump anime "Beet the Vandel Buster" & it's sequal series "Beet the Vandel Buster Excellion," currently airing in Japan.
Some things pointed out were, "Already Illumitoon has acquired some serious titles, and is looking forward to launching DVD releases as early as January 2007." As well as, "Of course, we always want to include the original Japanese tracks with our shows, for the serious anime fan... It's just that we want it to be accessible and engaging for a mass audience as well."
