Bakugan Hits 250 Million
Apparently, kids these days love to play with balls. Spin Master has announced that it has shipped over 250 million "Bakugan Battle Brawler" balls. That's a lot of balls being sold. Currently the most popular kids anime in North America & one of the most popular kids toys, Bakugan toys began appearing in Japan four years ago, & in the US nearly three years ago now. In addition to the collectible toys, the Bakugan manga is selling well & a new line of video games also further expands the franchise. In short, Bakugan is killing.
In contrast to this news, 4Kids Entertainment has formally shutdown their Chaotic franchise, after starting to push & promote the product around the same time four years ago. Ouch, a shame didn't work out for them. They really could've used a new hit.
