The anticipated School Days HQ remake game has finally been released in Japan, after a surprisingly minimal amount of delays. As expected, this new version contains a bunch of new material not seen in the original classic, including a few brand new endings. Such as this gem above.

you might be surprised to hear me say this but this ending doesn't exactly make me like Sekai more. You can call me out on the apparent double-standard all you wish, but I can't say she's a yandere now so much as she is a tsundere that took her violent acts a tad too far (it seemed this way when she killed Makoto in the anime and one of the first game's endings as well)... plus, she seems to be hiding the fact that Taisuke's really the one who knocked her up (again), making her seem more like a straight-up bitch. But I guess they did this to even the playing field a bit: all things considered, the first game never had a "Sekai kills Kotonoha" ending. Plus, even in the ending where Kotonoha did die via suicide, she still technically won by succeeding in scarring Makoto and Sekai (which I think is further testament to how awesome this girl really is).

Actually I'm not surprised at all. Kotonoha is essentially "your girl," & if anything having Sekai kill her would only make you hate her even more.

Geez, I didn't know so many people disliked Sekai so much. At least she wears hotter panties. =b

not really obsessed with shimapan myself (and for that matter, if you're gonna defend her, I'd recommend something besides shimapan since that seems to be about the only thing most people will praise Sekai for). And yeah, I've known for quite a while that Sekai's pretty widely disliked while Kotonoha is "your girl" for a lot of people (myself included). I think I mentioned it here before, but I watched a couple playthroughs of the original game on Nico. Quite a few people would say "ビッチ" (bicchi/bitch) for several occasions that Sekai would appear on screen. She seems to be associated with the term almost as much as Taisuke's associated with the term "レイパー" (reipaa/raper ( ... )
