ASOS Returns Again
On none other than Christmas Day did Bandai Entertainment choose to once again update their ASOS Brigade website for Haruhi Suzumiya. Once again we must ask if this means the possibility of season two getting licensed for a US release. The website was previously updated back in July, which had been so long since their last update that it seemed like there had to have been a reason behind it. Unfortunately nothing ever surfaced from it.
Things are looking a bit more optimistic this time around. In addition to Tsuruya-san updating with Christmas wishes & such, the above (seemingly pointless) video was added. An ASOS Brigade Facebook page was also added later in the day. But the real surprise comes from the site's now infamous hidden text, which contained the following but has since been removed:
"Hey hey, we gathered seven of our chickens, but the last one just crossed the road to the other side!"
"\(´ー')ノDid not want to become 八寸 "
& after that came a nearly Endless string of the Japanese character for the number Eight. Hmmm, what ever could that be referring to? & why update today of all days? The launch of the first season was heavily connected to the launch of the first season of AnimeTV. & with the second season of ATV launching soon, maybe a connection will be there once more?
