A scandalized C, with whom I nearly collided on the other side of the kitchen doorway - he was charging through it to tell me about his revelation re: "Cecilia", I was not paying attention:

"Omigod! When he sings the line 'I got up to wash my face,' he was going down on her!"

Whoa. And she still left him?! His technique must have needed work.

Yeah, I didn't notice the content on my own, either. I had a friend in middle school named Cecilia - she hated that people had been singing that song to her for her whole life, but her reaction to it got even worse in 8th grade when someone pointed that line out...
