Rain-swollen clouds curtained and darkened the sky much to Aiba's discomfort. It was a stupid idea really and he was not alone in thinking so. Another haunted place special was up and the group was splitted into two. This time it would be staying in a rundown cabin for the night and Aiba thought it would be the end of him. Not to mention, pairing up with Sho, the resident scaredy-cat, was not much to enlighten him.

He heaved a sigh and took on his surrounding. The place was definitely abandoned and ransacked like a vicious hurricane came to release its wrath to the place. It smelled of rotting wood and building filth, dry leaves scattered the floor and a short branch of an old tree found its way through the windows. A gush of cold wind rushed in every now and then.

It must have been made with a sturdy wood, Sho observed. If not, they wouldn't even have a cabin to stay into, Sho managed to reason despite looking behind his shoulders tensely.

"Geez," Aiba whined, "I don't want this already."

"Let's just go home." Sho plopped down into the hard mattress.

"The staff really does a good job with the place. It almost seems real."

"Aiba-san," Sho looked to him seriously, "it is real."

A momentary flash of light illuminated the room at that moment, making Sho look menacing and almost alien. Aiba shrieked in surprise and quickly covered his mouth to calm him down.

He would surely die of fright one of these days.

Sho laughed.

Aiba pouted.

"I wanna go home."

Sho patted Aiba's shoulders, "I wonder what the others were doing."

"I bet they're laughing at us," Aiba put his palms in his face in embarrassment.

"I don't think they set up the cameras yet."

"Really?" Aiba looked relieved.

Sho stood up and walked slowly around the room. He flashed a light in every corner for camera lenses to wink back at him. There was none.

"I think we're safe," Sho concluded.

"Why do they left us for anyhow?"

"Beats me, perhaps we're on standby."

"In here?"

Sho shrugged his shoulders, "Obviously."

Aiba whimpered and hugged his legs closer to him.

Tensed silence filled the room and no one bothered to say another word. The two were just scared stiff to every small, suspicious sounds, their ears perked up and their spines straightened. A low rumbling in the distance was enough for Aiba to know there was a storm coming.

"Sho-san?"

No answer.

Darkness creeped into him slowly and a growing panic coursed through his stomach.

Aiba looked frantically for a shape or an indication that his companion was still there.

He tried again, "Sho-san?"

Silence.

Again, a bit louder, "Sho-san?"

Nothing.

"Sho-san, stop it please. Answer me."

A loud clap of thunder combined with a violent flash of light made Aiba yelp helplessly. He was going to die. It's the end of him.

Suddenly, lights were switched on and Sho grinned beside a wall.

"Oh what do you know," he was proud of himself, "I found a switch on this room. Some rundown cabin they say."

He chuckled and Aiba felt faint.

"Stop it already. My heart was about to give out any second."

Sho laughed, grabbed a nearby red pillow on the mattress and hugged the other with it.

"Sorry, I couldn't help myself."

"Geezus!" He cuddled closer to the older man and buried his face on the pillow.

"Aiba-chan is so cute when he's scared."

"Shut up," and he smiled in the pillow, locking Sho in the embrace.

"Seriously," Nino teased, "didn't you know that both of you are being filmed?"

Sho and Aiba looked equally pale at each other.

"Well, the cuddling and touching aren't actually new in our group anyway," Jun relieved them.

Ohno nodded his agreement.

"But I looked for the cameras. I know the lenses reflect the light back," Sho frowned.

Nino wound an arm around Sho, "Better luck next time then."

"But all that shrieking to thunders and lightning was definitely funny," Ohno commented to Aiba, smiling.

"Shut up, Riida."
