I like youre headcanons you were talking about at the end, there. I wanted to say, as a christian and sunday-school teacher, that does seem like a good direction to take things for this verse. Humanity is still above animals, but are still a created being, made in God's image, but imperfect - if that makes sense? I like that direction, not that you needed my approval ;)

Now, speaking as a PARENT, I loved that scene. There've been times when one of my kids will be all worried and nervous about telling me something and making it a bigger deal than it needs to be, and I thought the cuddle and "just sit down and watch the movie" was perfect :)

Oh I'm glad. I wasn't sure if I was going in a good direction with it. And I was definitely one of those kids who made everything a bigger deal than it was. My parents were also so baffled by it.

But I'm hoping to sprinkle in more bits about that so everyone can get a feel for what the world is like outside of Klaine.
