Following the links from someone who just friended me (Hi, raqs!), I have found THE most fabulous new bento site - Just Bento With essays like "freezing pre-portioned rice," "basic bento in 20 minutes," and "how bento lunches helped me lose 30+ pounds" I know I've found my bento guru.

lunchinabox freezes rice in the shape of the container.

Steve has gotten heavily into Bento since I jouned weight watchers.. and now we've had lots of extra goodies frozen and waiting for lunch. Today we found a place that has aome nice boxes that we'll grab at some point.

We do a lot of japanese eating.. we found a Ramen restaurant in town.. and that's now our Friday night regular. So much so, that Friday when he called the order in, the usual waitress says, "I know who this is!" LOL

Aside from the leftover job lots at the Korean market or the industrial-looking ones from Container Store, there doesn't look to be anywhere in the area that has boxes. I've made a note of the big store that apparently just opened in Picadilly - next time I make it to London, I'm going to go bento shopping there!
