But these awesome things in my head rarely get played out, because the opportunity never comes up. So I'd like to suggest, or request, or recommend, that we start asking each other - What's something you've always wanted to see your character do? What do you want to have happen to them? And then play those things out.

I am honestly baffled by this. Baffled, because as far as I'm concerned, asking each other for stuff like this has been going on all along.

I think Skinner is proposing that we ask each other, as in the people we're playing with, these questions. Everyone has something they've always wanted to try or see happen and it's important we get to indulge in those little secrets and fantasies.
I think if you're fulfilled then you really don't need to worry about this post. The rest of us might not be.
