I love this episode!

Anyway, nice opening scene. *Kill shot, Kill Shot, Kill shot* Looks like a great recruiting tactic. "Closest I've ever come to a bullet is..." Very nicely done.

Dating wasn't his problem in the corp. He was married to Shannon for at least a good portion of his time in the corp, wasn't he?

The naked dolls bit was funny, as was Tony being creeped out that she'd removed all their heads. *g*

4 AM - Come on, Gibbs. If Tony worked until 4, surely that entitles him a little bit of leeway in showing up on time.

I thought the same thing! I wonder if it's because they're in the middle of an open murder investigation, of Marines, no less, that has Gibbs riding them. Though I must admit, he doesn't ride them as hard in this ep as he does in later eps. I sort of miss this more laid back Gibbs.

"Who'd choose today to sign up." "A Marine."

I liked that line a lot.

I get the impression that they didn't have time to do a whole lot of briefing Kate on Marine 'rules', so it makes me shake my head when they both expect her to know that she needs to remove her 'cover' inside, and Gibbs reaction when she doesn't grab it when they run out to back up Tony. It might still be second nature to Gibbs, but it's not to Kate.

Abby's role adds so much to the show, both in her character and the opportunity for others to interact with her quirks. ♥

Yes, and Gibbs seems to still have the hard Marine instincts/abilities that they never had to learn to aquire. Good point, it's not as bad as in later seasons.

That was a fantastic line. One of my all time favorites. :)

Probably true, they didn't have that much time to get everything in place. She did quite well and didn't do anything that would negatively effect the mission. She did HER job very well.

(I started watching in S4, because someone told me about Ziva, so I can't manage to hate her. Sorry)

*g* No apologies necessary. I, for one, don't hate Ziva - I don't have a problem with her, at all. I do have to admit to a dislike for Jen, but I think that's more of a problem of how the character is written than anything else. I suppose some people are specifically not interested in the later seasons because Kate's not in them, but I think for the most part it's less that than a dislike of the direction they took the show in the 3rd and 4th seasons. At least it is for me.

So glad to hear that someone doesn't hate her! Just curious, what about Jen don't you like? I've never been able to figure out why people hate her. Perhaps because when I started watching she was just part of the show. :)
