So, I would say that was rather successful! Almost everyone got their stuff in, and we had a ton of votes, which makes me happy. Which is good for you, because you want your mod to be happy... :D
Least Favorite and Why (-2)Choices- Although I liked how it ended, and I liked the "McCareful", I found this story hard to follow. There were many many grammer errors, tense changes, one-sentence paragraphs, and misplaced modifiers. This kept throwing me out of the story and making it very difficult to follow.
Least Favorite and Why(-2): Choices: There were LOTS of awkwardly worded sentences, sentence fragments, and one sentence paragraphs. There were misplaced modifiers, sentences that begin with prepositions, and changing tenses. Most of these things are fine in dialogue, but these mistakes were in the narration. While a few mistakes are bound to happen, these happened so OFTEN that it made it difficult to read, even though the subject matter would have been interesting if it was written better.
Favorite and Why(+2): Choices. I liked it the most I could really see the ep ending like this, it very canon and ducky's and DiNozzo's reaction mirrored my own.I just loved the last line.
Favorite and Why(+2):A Moment of Clarity. This was my favorite because not only was it well written but I thought it captured Palmer perfectly. There were several very good entries and it was a hard choice but I went for this one because my immediate reaction was to think YES, this is exactly what would run through his mind.
Thanks for posting! I would love to read my comment, please. I think a discussion post could be a really good idea, if lots of people are interested, especially in the early stages when the voting is for two out of so many! :-)
Favorite and Why(+2): Out damn spot. Because it's painful to read, but in a good way. I love the way that Tony is trying to deal with being both DiNozzo and DiNardo, and how the relationship between him and Gibbs has been affected by both Hiatus and Tony's undercover mission. Also love the subtle foreshadowing of Flesh and Blood (going to Gibbs's house)
**Honorable Mention: Mrs. Mallard's Memories - TOTALLY funny and entertaining. I'm still laughing myself too much to really think of a competent response to it!
Favorite and Why(+2): Mrs. Mallard's Memories.
First, I liked that the author took a chance and *didn't* go for angst. It paid off, too - this was funny and very much in character. I could just see Tony trying to figure out how to handle Mrs. Mallard, and Mrs. Mallard herself was so well written. Well done!
Favorite and Why(+2): Mrs. Mallard's Memories. I love anything and everything that incorporates The Man from U.N.C.L.E. It was also heartwarming to see what Ducky's mother used to be like, before the dementia got hold of her
Thanks to everyone who liked it and especially to the voter who liked that I did an odd scene. I was very worried about this entry but my muse is a little offbeat (understatement for sure) and once it got hold of me it wouldn't let go. I just wrote it and hoped for the best!
