I wish Liresius was here so she could squee too *g*. I wonder if they're going to give us any more of an explanation than that? Probably not.

Me too! LOL! At least they're acknowledging that it's been awhile. I wonder if they'll say WHY it's been awhile but probably not. I wish I KNEW why it had been awhile - there have been some eps this season where a headslap has been a very appropriate response - in fact, I've even expected it and been surprised when it hasn't been forthcoming.

Tony's line was great - loved MW's delivery ;-).

Yep - he's so good at 'verbalising' thoughts and the way he uses his eyes is brilliant.

There was a perfect moment in Bounce where Tony deserved one but Gibbs flashed the camera in his face instead. I do like the alternative 'headslaps' but they're no substitute for the real thing *g*

What I hope, is that they don't over do it and that any future ones are deserved and have meaning behind them. And yes, an explanation would be welcome but I don't really mind not getting one.

He couldn't headslap him in "Bounce." It would have set a bad precident that headslapping the boss is okay. :)

I agree! I saw a moment in SXSW and actually felt a bit "Huh?" when there was no headslap. What is Gibbs thinking? Tony mustn't go unslapped! It's bad for him!

So very true, but it was kinda made up for that Tony had no clue about horses.

Plus Gibbs snipering the pilot of Tim Guinee's heli was made of win.

Thanks for posting this, even though I read it late. Damn, still no explanation for why the dearth.
