This is lovely.

Really is it.

I would never believe this was your first attempt at this fandom and genre if I didn't know it was.

Great characterisation, lovely dialogue, lovely loving and I like the hint to Gibbs's past and his worries. I've always believed that you can't completely take the child out of the adult, even when they know rationally that something that happened in childhood won't happen in adulthood.

And I really loved the comments about DiNozzo. Ducky is indeed spot on, DiNozzo always does annoy Gibbs - wonderful.

Really lovely.
