Brilliant. You captured Tony's voice perfectly, the way he rambles on about what seems to be nothing, but there is a point there, if you know how to listen. Very good.

Wonderful! So many quotes that are just perfect. "It’s only being real, being honest, that’s hard, and this is one of the few places in which his defenses have absolutely no effect." Great characterization here, of Tony and Gibbs both. And I love the way you describe the darkness out there throughout, but there's the hint of light at the end.
