That was really good, I can see Ducky sitting late at night reading a book and just thinking, it's short but you get the feeling of the moment Ducky is in very quickly and the description paints a beautiful picture, really loved it.

You hit this dead on. Ducky is trying to outrun his mortality, although in a very different way from the way someone younger would. But it all comes down to the same thing in the end. "Just one more story" changes to "one more drink," or "one more fling," or what have you--but in the end, it's "just one more story" again.

Made me sniffle a bit, this did. Very nice.
