LOL and he is right dateing is a game and not a very easy one but gibbs is so worth the time and effert. since the pirze at that end of the game will last a lifetime.
*grins* I'm glad you enjoyed the story so much! I admit, I thought it might suck just because it was so exposition heavy. Almost nothing happened in "real time", if you know what I mean.
Also, somehow it never occurred to me to have Tony describe what kind of player Abby would be. Maybe he just takes for granted that she'd be a lot like him. *grins* I think those two have a lot in common, actually.
They both have such a sense of fun, don't they? Tony has referred to dating/flirting as a game more than once, so it was fun to see how you explored that thread.
This bit was a wonderful description of the private vocabulary of gestures and behaviours that Gibbs and DiNozzo share:
A pizza, a slap on the back of the head, an arch grin, a flaunted date. Then there were the oblique things, things that one or the other of them were suddenly allowed to know or see or hear when they'd been off limits a moment before. And the obvious things: invitations tendered and accepted, or not; requests made and granted, or refused.
And the end --with the tantalizing prospect of the game changing again-- so very, very hot!
And yeah, their complimentary sense of fun was definitely the motivation for a lot of this fic. *grins* I really don't get the people who write Gibbs as grim. The man frequently hides this little grin he gets. And I swear he and Tony have the same sense of humour. Couldn't point to a specific instance, but I can definitely see them playing together. *g*

Nope. *g* They might think it will, but somehow there will always be something more, something worth sticking around for, just a little ways ahead...

Here is where you either (a) practice lots and get good, (b) give the ideas to someone else (other than me!), or (c) just write it anyway. *g*
*would kill for fic not written by self*
Thanks for the feedback!
