You have a marvelous touch. I have been following your NCIS stories. Each one is a gem showing a different aspect of Jethro and how he interacts with Ducky, the children and his friends.

More please.

Thank you very much indeed for your kind words of praise. I am really touched by them.

And I'm glad to hear you see different aspects of Jethro in them in his various interactions - that is so good to know.

Oh, there will be.

Thank you again. You really have brightened my day.

I'm awed that you wrote this in a half hour. I like your take on Gibbs. It was really beautiful...so much was said in just over 500 words.

I am so glad you enjoyed this so much and my take on Gibbs.

And thank you for the 'awed' comment too.

Oh, nice. Friendship between men is a beautiful if often awkward thing, and I love how you've shown both their closeness and the delicate dance involved in expressing it.

Thank you very much.

I'm really pleased to hear you liked this and their closeness came over well.

We know how much they care for one another, but they're not going to show it openly and overtly - not even to one another!

Thank you for reading.

Gibbs can be very thoughtful at times.

"Least she didn't hit you round the head with a seven iron," he said, letting his grip linger, beyond that of just a casual friend's touch.

Fornell nodded once. He then looked up at Gibbs. "If it had meant leaving Emily with me, she could have done it."

Oh, Fornell. He's amazing as a character, and I love his interactions with Gibbs. This is so telling about where his priorities lie, and adorably heartwrenching.

Thank you very much indeed.

I am so pleased to hear you enjoyed this.

I love Fornell and his friendship with Gibbs. They are close, but show it in a different way from the way Gibbs & Ducky do.
