Ziva really took over the story didn't she. I kept getting "vibes" of fierce loyalty to her new family, and relief over her change in where her life was going.

I really like this! You got Ziva's voice so well. I love it when fic shows her as contemplative, because I think that's how she really is :D

I think there's a lot more to Ziva that needs to be explored. She really started to be a vibrant character during Season 4

This is great. :) It's nice to find people who see the more contemplative, as someone else said, side of Ziva. She really is more than just this "cold-blooded killer" she's often seen as. I think it does hurt her to have people think that of her. She is very loyal to those she cares about and, like you said in the fic, that makes her a lot like Gibbs.

Again, great work. I don't write much of this stuff myself, but it's always in the back of my mind. :)

Ziva's voice took over the piece. I originally envisioned a dialogue piece between Ziva and Gibbs, but that obviously didn't happen lol.
