Rough drafts are due in TWO weeks. Where has the time gone? Rough drafts do not need to be beta'd at this time, but it is certainly okay if they are. How are you all doing? I hope you're all getting close! I am looking forward to new stories and artwork posting in May!

After freaking myself out over all the RL stuff that I had booked between now and the due date, I finally kicked my hind end into gear, produced 8000 words in one day and then iced my hands...lol. JK

Both works are now with secondary betas and I'm looking forward to seeing the final artwork looking all spiffy!

Despite RL eating up my writing time, I have progressed from 6k of disjointed stuff to 6k of mostly sensical stuff (I think). However, finding an ending in time for rough draft due date may be a bit much. I'm frantically trying to get as much of this story written before rough drafts are due as I can.  Wish me luck on making it to chapter 5, which my outline claims is the end... Don't ask me what chapter I'm currently on. You don't want to know.

Nothing changed since last time. Eagerly awaiting the beta read so I can finish it up. Still no title, which is driving me nuts.

Updating to say beta is complete and I'm in editing mode. Thanks to her, I have some title ideas so working on that, too.

Four chapters done, still eyeing two or three more. Beta reading happening as I'm going, so there's that. Would have gotten more done this weekend if 1) I hadn't gotten sick yet again, and 2) I suddenly remembered taxes are due right around the time this draft is. So those are done, the story isn't. But it's happening. It is.

I'm sorry you've been sick! And yeah, taxes. I got tired of leaving them to late, so now, I'm on it in February. At least you got that done. I'm probably more lenient than the IRS... LOL

Safe bet you're more lenient than the IRS!! I used to target February, but then I'd receive documents in March, so I started holding off... and then procrastination set in...

I can't wait these days as we're still dealing with an estate. I have to get those documents to my brothers by mid-March or so. Which means, I have to turn it all in to my CPA in Feb. I have a list of documents I should have and if I'm missing anything by Feb 7th, I ask for copies to be sent, which usually takes 1-2 weeks. I believe, legally, all tax documents (mailed to you) have to be postmarked by the end of January.

i'm about 80% done for the first artwork prompt claimed. and i've done the research for the second artwork prompt claimed. about ready to start writing it. wish me luck!!
