2017 NCIS Big Bang/Multi-Bang Availability
Hello!
It's time to start putting a posting schedule together. Please comment below and note any dates in October that you are not available to post, using the actual numerical dates. Please limit these dates to days that you will not have internet access (due to medical reasons, vacations, travel, long work days, etc.). Also, keep in mind that either member of an Artist/Author team can make the post. The fewer *I can’t post* dates we get, the easier it is to schedule without having to delay the go-live date.
Last call for rough drafts:
Did you miss the art claim, but your story is now completed? You are still welcome to post your story, and can supply your own art, or post without art. To be added to the schedule, please send in your rough draft ASAP ( Directions for Rough Draft Submissions) and advise your posting availability below. As long as I receive your rough draft by Saturday, 23 September, I am happy to include you on the posting schedule.
Other posting options:
1) If your beta has an LJ account, they may also post your Big Bang story for you. If you would like to have this option available, please be sure that your beta is a member of this community so they can be given posting access if needed.
2) In past years, we have had Big Bang authors who had completed their stories, communicated with their artists, then never posted their stories. As far as I know, neither has posted to their LJ accounts since they disappeared from the challenge. If you are okay with someone else posting your story in case you lose posting access or are otherwise unable to post your story, please make sure they have the most recently updated version of your story and let them know that they are authorized to post for you on your scheduled date in the event you are unable to post the story yourself. Please make sure they are a member of this community so they can be given posting access if needed.
3) If you miss your posting date, you (or someone you authorize) may send links to the story and art to ncis_challenge (at) gmail (dot) com and I will add the links to the master schedule when it is posted.
If you have a preference to post early, late or somewhere in the middle, you may note that. I cannot guarantee that everyone will get their first choice, but I will accommodate as many as I can.
Authors, please note an approximate, current word count. Feel free to round up or down to the nearest 25, 100 or 500. I just want to get a general idea. It is perfectly fine if you add more or edit the story down before posting.
If you are the Artist or Author for more than one story, you may list separate preferences for each story. Please do so in the same comment. If your preference is the same on both stories, you may list the titles and word counts together on the same line (i.e. title WC, title WC).
I would like to have everybody's availability no later than Saturday, 23 September.
