On Saturday, 6 January, I will open the claims up at 17:00 GMT Greenwich mean time. If needed, see the Time converter. If you are not available to make a claim at this time, you may appoint a proxy. Please make sure they note that they are claiming for you.
- There are 12 art submissions to choose from. Author signups are open through Friday.
- The posting order for the artwork was chosen by a Random Sequencer.
- There is no penalty if a signed-up author chooses not to make a claim.
DW Authors may participate in the LJ art claims using a Facebook, Google, LJ, Twitter, or OpenID account, or may use a proxy.
How to make a claim:
Comments will be disabled until the claims open on Saturday. Once the claims are open, please comment below using the template provided. Use the corresponding number to claim a submission. Signed-up Authors may make their first choice beginning Saturday at 17:00GMT/UTC. If there is unclaimed artwork, signed-up Authors wanting to make a second choice may do so on Sunday at 17:00GMT/UTC. Please do not make a second claim unless you are certain you can write both stories. If there are unclaimed art submissions by Sunday evening, we may open them up to non-signed-up Authors. Claims usually stay open until all artwork is claimed, or until April.
Claims are first come, first served. You are not required to put more than one choice, but sometimes claims go quickly. Please remove any lines you don't need. You may add more lines as needed. I will assign you your first choice that has not been already claimed by another Author. If all of your choices are claimed prior to your comment, you will be asked if you would like to claim any of the remaining unclaimed art pieces.
Use your LJ name if you signed up on LJ or your DW name if you signed up on DW.
If you are a proxy for someone else, but sure to put in their name so I know who the claim is for.
Before making your claim, please fully read through the prompt (including allowed categories, pairings and any allowed crossovers) that accompanies the artwork and make sure you are willing to work within those parameters.
Not Allowed:
Even if it's not noted, please check with your artist before writing something that would normally be warned for, such as rape, non-con, major character death, graphic violence or torture, BDSM, MPreg, gender-swap, any sexual situations involving minors, etc. We understand it's difficult for an artist to capture all of these, and things commonly warned for may be triggery to some people. Of course, the artist may be fine with some of the above, but unless it's specified with the artwork, please ask before going in that direction.
